"Jack is someone who naturally do not feel afraid of anything on the field and that's usually a sign of a leader. He wants to win and show it to you," said Wenger.

"Of course he will be one of the leaders in this club. A leader is someone who does everything on the field to help his team win., And he did that," he said.

Furthermore, Wenger also supports Wilshere to become a leader in the national team level.

"The potential is there, of course. But I'm not the coach of the national team. You should ask that question to Roy Hodgson, who will be happy to talk about it," he said.
