Mancini Denies Giving Chase Premier League Title
Manchester City are currently nine points behind Manchester United, who lead the standings. Although the difference in points is not really little, Roberto Mancini was reluctant to throw the towel.

The rate of the not so smooth in this year make the City a number of times failed to reap the full points. Until the Premier League runs 25 weeks, the City collect 53 points and sits in second place.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is at the top still kept going. They are now collecting 62 points and nine points ahead of The Citizens.

With a league that still leaves 13 weeks again, mathematically City to defend his title opportunity is still open. Therefore, Mancini refused to give up the chase and hope MU can repeat last season's achievements.

"The season is still long. Nine points today may not mean anything. With 13 games remaining, it is important for us to be sure and keep trying to win all our games," said Mancini told BBC Sport.

"Maybe we would not have won 13 games. Better than our United to date and has the advantage of nine points, but within three months everything can change just like last year," said the Italian manager.
