Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo crowded speculated return to Manchester United. But the Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, doubts that former players will be "home".
In a recent report, the Portugal international is said to have told his advisers that he was ready to cut the pay to go back to Old Trafford.
In addition to MU, wealthy French club Paris St. Germain also toned associated with Ronaldo and his current Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho.
Even so, some time ago, Ronaldo admitted that he was happy again at the Santiago Bernabeu. Hence, CR7 believes Fergie will not be back in the summer.
"There is nothing that encourages me to think Cristiano will be back here," said Ferguson on Sky Sports. "As far as it knew, there was nothing."
"Ronaldo still has two years remaining on the contract, and for me it's all part of the ongoing negotiation of new contracts related to him. Maybe agents he was playing. News was false hope."
One thing that is clear is Ronaldo really going to go back to Manchester United when defending Madrid in the second leg round of 16, the middle of next week. Ferguson ensure former protege will receive a warm welcome.
"Cristiano will get a good reception. All of our former players, especially those who made a large contribution to the club will get a warm welcome when they return."
