Juventus confirmed the news that says they get an offer from Barcelona for Paul Pogba. However, a bid of 80 million euros was rejected by the Bianconeri.
Barca is serious to get Pogba although they are still serving a ban from FIFA's transfer. Some officials Blaugrana, like Albert Soler and Areido Braida, reportedly flew to Italy on Wednesday (7/1/2015) to meet with the Juve.
In a meeting in Milan, Juve claimed to have agreed not to sell Pogba to another club this summer. This will open up opportunities for Barca to bid Pogba in the summer of next year, when they were freed from punishment transfer.
However, according to Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, Barca was immediately bid worth 80 million euros (about USD 1.18 trillion) in the meeting. The offer was rejected by Juve.
"Yes, we accept an offer worth 80 million euros," said Marotta told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"However, I can confirm that we will not sell Pogba," he said.
