Ramos: MU Not Just Van Persie and Rooney

Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney will be a mainstay of Manchester United in action contra Real Madrid. However, according to Sergio Ramos, there are plenty of other United players should be supervised.

Madrid will face Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League this season. The first leg will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday (14/02/2013) pm dawn.

In a game against the Red Devils, who finished doorstop Ramos Madrid's defense will face the terror of the duo Van Persie-Rooney. The pair currently is being ferocious-ferociously.

Van Persie this season so the club's top scorer with 23 goals donations in all competitions. Rooney was also quite productive with a collection of 13 goals.

However, Ramos asked Madrid to not only be aware of Van Persie and Rooney. He believes the United players are equally dangerous.

"Van Persie is in the performance of a very, very nice. We did not see as good as this for years. He's fast, shoot the ball well. He is a constant threat," Ramos said in an interview with The Guardian.

"Rooney is different. He's a hard worker. He enjoys physical duel. Honestly, I'd rather be. Defender I like duel versus a striker," he added.

"But Rooney would complicate mobility. You do not always know to what extent should come out to suppress it. He fell down or widened over and you are wondering whether to follow it," said the Spanish international defender.

"Communication with the midfield so vital. If he (Rooney) down, there is a point where the defender can not follow and responsibilities to switch to the quarterback. Leaving the post too much will leave a hole in the back," said Ramos.

"But it's not just them, the whole team. You have Chicharito, who played for half an hour and scored two or three goals at any time. And it is no coincidence," he said.
